Pattern: pattern on back of yarn
Yarn: Bernat's Jacquard Gemstone
Things I learned doing this project:
- the Magic Loop technique
- making a thumb gusset
- picking up stitches
I got this yarn on clearance. Personally, I don't like the colors, but my mom loves them. For some reason, they seem faded to me and very 1970's. The acrylic yarn is a little scratchy, so I hope that it softens up after a run through the washer. This was my first time trying the Magic Loop method. I really like it. So much easier than juggling four DPNs.
